LeBron James

LeBron James is the best basketball player right now. Lebron has won 3 MVP awards, 9x All-Star player, 2 time Olympian Gold Medalist, Finals MVP, One Championship Ring, NBA Rookie of the year, and has earned eight All-NBA honors and four All-Defensive honors. He is also the Cleveland Cavaliers' all-time leading scorer. With three MVP trophies, he is part of a select group of players to have won the award three times, including Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Chamberlain, and Bill Russell. James played high school basketball at St. Vincent – St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. A three time "Mr. Basketball of Ohio", he was highly promoted in the national media as a future NBA superstar. After graduating, he was selected with the first overall pick of the 2003 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2010, he left the Cavaliers for the Heat in a highly publicized free agency period. In 2012, he led Miami to their second NBA title in franchise history, winning his first overall.
